ABOUT ME
My name is Morgan Herkert and I live in beautiful Bellingham, WA. I am an RN, a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor and health and wellness coach.
My background is in healthcare. I started in healthcare when I was sixteen years old and became a CNA through my high school health occupations program. Soon after, I began working in a local nursing home after school and knew I wanted to help people and pursue a career in nursing. After becoming a nurse, twenty-three years later, I have had the opportunity to work in various fields such as long-term care, hospice, home health, OBGYN, orthopedic and surgical care, progressive and critical care, and conscious IV sedation. I currently volunteer with hospice as well as maintaining continuing education to keep my license active.
I followed my passion, took the risks, and switched careers from nursing to the fitness industry. Since changing my career path, I have competed in a bodybuilding show - Emerald Cup 2016, earned my Certified Personal Trainer Certification (NFPT), earned my RYT-200 Yoga Certification through Power Yoga Academy, opened two boutique gyms, started my own personal training business - Morgan H Fitness, LLC and started an online preventative healthcare program - Thrive, Thriving through adversity, LLC.
I can honestly say that I have found my passion! Healing and being of service to help people move through their adversities, just as I did, the healthy way. I am living proof that you can LIVE and authentically BE what you want to represent and bring to the world! This is where we get to live in alignment with our purpose! When I’m not in the gym training, practicing on my mat, coaching, and working with clients, you can find me enjoying my other passions. I love winter skiing, alpine hiking, travel, warm weather, music, grazing on oysters and leafy cuisine, family and living a healthy lifestyle. If it’s not challenging me to get out of my comfort zone and explore new destinations and adventure, it’s a hard pass. Focusing on my personal health is an everyday practice which keeps me growing spiritually, mentally and physically. Getting to share my knowledge, experience and skill set with others makes it all that much sweeter!

PERSONAL NUTRITION RECOMMENDATIONS / COACHING
I believe nutrition is the most important aspect of transforming your body to its healthiest potential! Food is medicine in its most holistic form. I have witnessed numerous clients attest to increased energy, decreased digestive symptoms, glowing skin, improved cardiac health and countless inches of fat lost while creating and maintaining lean muscle mass.
I offer 1:1 virtual 90-minute nutrition consultations which are based on clean, cardiac, and macro friendly nutrients. Together, we will develop a plan tailored to your individual needs. I will teach you how to calculate your precise goals for optimal success, timing of meals and specifically what types of foods to eat and when. As your mind and body respond to a new way of eating, we will be able to reevaluate and modify your plan as needed for ongoing success.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS CONSULTATION
As a health and wellness coach, I offer 1:1 60-minute virtual consultations. Together we evaluate all aspects of your health as we create a tailored health and wellness plan. We will explore current habits and adjust as needed. Your new health and wellness plan will leave you feeling empowered and motivate you to become an expert of your own health and wellbeing by engaging in behaviors and creating habits proven to improve health and prevent disease.
