This one is a game changer folks. I repeat, GAME CHANGER and will take some serious weight off your shoulders!
Clutter is ANYTHING that negatively impacts how we feel causing us to worry, stress and feel overwhelmed.
Clutter can affect our lives big time and can come from unsupportive people, too much social media, negative thought processes, as well as negative emotions and feelings that we are still holding on to.
Ask yourself these questions:
-Do you surround yourself with unsupportive people who constantly drain your energy?
If so, let them go. Bye!
-Do you often get captivated by social media, scrolling for hours and begin to play the compare game?
If so, I cannot emphasize enough, TAKE A BREAK! We all need a break to focus on being present instead of seeing what everyone else is up to. Most people do not share their struggles and imperfections and unfortunately, all you see is what is going right for them.
-Do you carry negative thought processes?
Perfectionism, procrastination, all-or-nothing thinking, blaming, always being right, comparison, avoidance, need for approval, etc.
If so, let them go and if you struggle to let them go, ask for help. Asking for help is empowering and is a vital step in taking care of your health.
If you can relate to any of the above questions, take a deep breath and know that we all carry this emotional /mental clutter at some point in our lives. Brain clutter will keep you stuck and hold you back. It is toxic, it is draining, and we need to let it go!
The number one way to lessen this type of clutter is with a well-deserved, nourishing dose of self-care. My personal favorite approaches include:
Exercising, practicing mindfulness, setting intentional goals, cultivating healthy habits, removing toxicity, unplugging digitally, adequate sleep, practicing meditation, journaling, and prioritizing what you can and cannot control
Again, game changers and necessary for removing the clutter. You already know what is good for you- you just need to listen to it! Allow yourself time to focus on you and without the brain clutter, you will become a more productive, healthier, and happier you!💛
