Why is sleep is a contributing factor for fat loss???


We are used to giving all of our attention to nutrition and exercise to lose a few pounds. Many of us ignore the significance that getting an adequate amount of sleep is equally important for fat loss.


Reasons why sleep deprivation can lead to weight gain:


1. It disrupts the balance of key hormones (Ghrelin and Leptin) that control appetite


2. Sleep deprivation heightens stress levels which increases the release of cortisol


3. Increase in insulin resistance


4. Metabolism slows down


Get your sleep everyone! At least 8-9 hrs every night 😴 💤 🛌
